Find each other
Converge on a friend in a crowd
Both accept, then both trails go live: an arrow warming from cold blue to hot ember, haptics quickening like a metal detector. Neither shares anything until the other says yes.
Apple Intelligence · on device
“Two and a bit kilometres, one brand-new street. Nice work 🍞”
Written by Apple's on-device model. The model words things; it never decides them.

Apple Health
Close your rings
Off by default and write-only: the permission sheet asks to read nothing. Walks land as workouts, so the rings finally close.
If they have to come looking
An SOS packet built for a search
Not just a pin: accuracy circle, direction and speed, your last fifteen minutes of path in every ping, battery, and whether you were walking, driving or still. Crossing 20, 10 or 5% battery forces a fresh location out, so a dying phone's last words are where it is.
Quietly, in the background
It learns the places you keep going
The buddy notices where you spend time and offers to make them safe zones. Clustered on the phone, never uploaded, and nothing becomes a zone without your yes.
